Most importantly, we love Xerox’s Extensible Interface Platform (EIP) software that is now included in many of their MFPs. Simply put, EIP is the technology that allows us to use your printing devices as the “on-ramp” for converting your paper mess into digital files, thereby allowing us automate your business processes and bring clarity to your office.

Xerox Extensible Interface Platform (EIP)

Simply put, EIP allows your multifunction printer (MFP) to adapt to fit the way you work, not the other way around.

Xerox EIP is a software platform inside many Xerox MFPs that allows independent software vendors and developers to easily create personalized and customized document management solutions that you can access right from the MFP touch screen. These solutions can leverage your existing business applications (ERPs, CRMs and ECMs), your databases (SAP, Oracle, SharePoint, etc.) and other
systems to increase your return on investment, or ROI.

Two-way communication between the MFP and your infrastructure means information can be sent directly to your existing systems and your database can automatically be updated based on the scanned information.
